I recently purchased the subject undated studio portrait of a young woman taken by M. T. Hills Art Studio, Attica, NY. It is identified on the front of the mount:

"Aunt Lucy Perl"

I found this individual included in many public member trees posted on ancestry.com. I also found her listed in the 1880 Census data for Sheldon, Wyoming Co., NY; and the 1900, 1910, 1920, and 1930 Census data for Java, Wyoming Co., NY.

Lucy M. Dominesey, born 10 Apr 1869 in Sheldon, Wyoming Co., NY, died 13 Feb 1939 in North Java, Wyoming Co., NY, was the daughter of a farmer, John Dominesey, born about 1825 in Belgium; and Catherine (maiden name unknown), born Dec 1824 in Germany.

On 27 Oct 1897, Lucy married a farmer, John Perl, born 22 Jul 1870 in Sheldon, Wyoming Co., NY, died 29 Jul 1961 in North Java, Wyoming Co., NY. The couple had two daughters:

Catherine Mary Perl, born 12 Sep 1902 in North Java, Wyoming Co., NY, died 18 Nov 2003 in North Java, Wyoming Co., NY

Elizabeth M. Perl, born 5 Nov 1905 in North Java, Wyoming Co., NY, died 15 Sep 1989 in Chaffee, Erie Co., NY.

In 1930, the family resided on North Java Depot Road.
