I received the following e-mail today.

hi amy,
my name is larry shelton, I do family histories, for families, I live in high point, nc. I am
staying with my girlfriend, in morehead city, right now, and have been here for a couple of times
before. well, to make a long story short, she is a private duty care person, who hires, ladies to
work different shifts taking care of this older woman, who has old age problems. my girlfriend's
employees, consist of a african american lady, who, is a Pasteur, her father is joseph pasteur,
then her fathers parents are: John Pasteur, and Georgia Pearsall. by looking through, genforum, I
came across your request from, september 10, 1999, giving information, on george pearsall and
julia. well, I have the death certifcate, of georgia pearsall, she was born, 1890, and died, august
3, 1939, carteret county, beaufort, n.c., it gives her parents, as george pearsall, born, beaufort
county, and her mother, born, in duplin county, her name julia moore. I would like to work with
you, if you would consider doing this, this lady, that I am doing this for, has hired me, plus, I
have gotten to know her on a personal bases, now. as I try to do, before I do a family history. I
must admitt to you, that I have been doing genealogy, for over 12 years, but have never done a
african /american family. but I want it to be as detailed just like all that I do. I never turn
over the finished books, until, I have everything, accomplished, and all the families that make up
the family book. I looking forward to talking with you, and hopefully, working, with you.

larry shelton
p.s. mildred pasteur, has a lot of great information, on her family, that we can share with you!
