Cuidado -- As indicated by other posts on this forum, there are a lot of problems with the "facts" presented in this book, especially as to the earliest generations. See the article titled "The Fabulous Pearsalls" by Seversmith & Wardwell in the American Genealogist, 1941, starting at page 78. As the colonial settlers of this name (and variations), the 1928 publication is really useful only when quoting accurately from a 17th century source.
