dear sylvia we are talking about the same patrig pearse.i am afraid that i missled you apon talk to my mother i found out that it was my grate grandfarther that was the half brother to patrig. it seems that patrig had two marriges one to a emily fox and the other to a margaret brady. the ferst he had two childern on the second he had three or four childern it is the ferst that i beleave ernest was from but i can not find anything on these two kids. i also found out that there was a name change. it seems that james pearse was born in london in 1839 under the name james pierce in 1892 he changed to pearse. he also had two brothers that i also dont know anythigg about other than they were also artisans also. i know that ernest wife was named fanney harter . ialso found out that margaret had a afair in witch one of the childern were born do to the fact that there was a 20 year diferance between them . i also found out that james frist wife died in1876 at the age of 30 i am very interested in knowing your connection to patriag and what else you can tell me about the family just to let you know i live in new hampshure i also have two boys to keep the name going.i also as i said before have a book on the complete family from ernest to present that i am willing to share along with the family seems strange that we might be related through patriag in some way well i have to leave so have a happy new year and i am interested in anything you have on the family.iam also welling to share what i have thanks agin clyde
