Dear Belinda: Alas, I did not check the website sooner!! We certainly DO have a match. I believe that I have the same picture of John with his carpenter's square. I also believe that my father, Robert Pearse (now living in Rochester, New York) has been in contact with Chris. When I visited Withycombe 12 years ago, I met Richard and Nigel Pearse, sons of Henry (2 of his 15 children from the two wives!!). Thanks for the response.
