This is interesting. Your Pearse midwife brought my husband,s gggrandparents daughter Netta Louisa Davies into the world on May 06,1899, at Naniamo,B.C. Canada. I have a birth registration with her signature on it,but the first part is hard to read, looks like NM Pearse. The proud parents were George Davies and wife Louisa Jenner.Just checked again, another birth record I have-looks like its signed Mrs.Pearse, she helped deliver George Davies, my husband,s ggrandfather also on May 13,1892.I,m also researching PEERS, which may be also spelled Pearse. Having a hard time tracking the family down from England to B.C. Canada.Hope this helps, you know now the dates she was at Naniamo for sure anyway.
