Hi Trevor
Cannot help with George Pearse's parents but I might have some relevant information. My ggg-grandparents were James Pearse and his wife Fanny (Wicks). They were married at St George's Bloomsbury in 1803. In 1818 they had a daughter, Emma Fanny, who married my gg-grandfather, Daniel Green, in 1840. I don't have much information on the Pearse family other than that they were licensed victuallers and in 1840 were resident at Licensed Victuallers' Asylum in Peckham. Fanny Pearse is recorded there in the 1841 census but not Jamrs. Any links here?

best wishes Tony (Green)
