Joy: Thanks for the note regarding the Pearses of Withycomb. I was in Withycomb in 1990 and met Dick Pearse (and a couple of his siblings and cousins). As you may know, he lives in the house where his father, Henry, was born. Henry's brother, George, was my great grandfather, and left England for Ontario in about 1870 or so. I have also been in touch with the Scully's and the Scully Newspaper. Henry, Dick's father, had 7 children by a first wife who passed away, at which point he married married one of his daughter's husband's sisters (a bit difficult to untangle) and had 8 more children, including Dick. A daughter from the first bunch left for Western Canada and married a Scully. In any event, drop another line. Where do you live now? I live in Chicago (Illinois).

Thanks again for the note.

Richard
