Hi Bernard,
I dont think I shall be of any use to you. All of the Pearses I deal with have spelled their names with an S not a C for over 300 years. The Pearces with a C have generally come from northern England. Almost all of Pearses did come from soyth-west England. Sorry I cant be of more help.
