Are you referring to Sarah katherine Peavler, born 7 Feb 1861 in Mercer Co., KY, the daughter of John Peavler and Nancy E. Ashley / Asher? John born 1828 in Cornishville, Mercer Co., KY, the youngest of ten children of Christopher Peavler and Catherine Yeast. Christopher was born ca 1784 and died ca Mar 1836 in Mercer Co., KY., the son of Christopher Bibler / Peavler, born 1757 in VA. This Christopher (1757) was the son of Jacob Beeler / Pibler / Pavlur, born 1720 in Spotsylvnia Co., VA. Jacob was the son of Christopher Barler / Pavlur / Puehler of the Germanna Colony of 1717, born 1696 in Schwartzwaldkreis, Wuerttemberg, Germany.

Christopher (1696) was a first cousin to Christian / Christopher Boehler / Bohler / Beeler of the Ephrata Commune of Ephrata, PA. This Christopher married first Catherine Esther (Unknown) who left him and became a celibate sister in the Ephrata Cloister. He married twice after that and founded lines of Beelers, Peeblers and Pevelers, but no Peavlers.

There are at least 12 Christophers and it is very easy to get them mixed up with all the name variations (at least 36 variations and name changes that I have discovered)

Write to me at, if I can help you with anything more. I show Sarah Katherine Peavler marrying Charles Lyons about 1880 and having children, John, Harve, Robert Mary Ella, Ernest, Merrit and Pearl, but not much info after that. I would enjoy learning how you are related.
