Here is some info that I found recently about our family:
1870 census
Henry Peavler age 61
B abt 1840 Sullivan Co TN (his year of birth seems to be in question, age 61 in 1870 census would mean 1819)
Married:
Susannah Farris age 33
B abt 1845 Sullivan Co TN
Children:
George M B abt 1859
Charles M "Charlie" B abt 1865
Samuel F B abt 1868
Martha E B abt 1870
Cora ? age/yr of birth
It appears that Henry died before the 1880 census, as Susannah is listed as the head of household.
The 1860 census lists:
Harry/Henry (hard to decipher), age 52, born 1807
Susan age 23 born 1836
John age 18 born 1841
George age 2 born 1857
Also found:
1810 census: one listing: George Peavler
