This information about Austin Peay / William Peay is incorrect. Your William may have had a brother Austin, but it was not the one for whom Austin Peay State U. was named for. You can find info on that Austin Peay line at http://www.public.usit.net/epeay/peaycuck.html, which I compiled. There are/were Austin Peays all over the country and I cannot yet connect all the lines, but it probably goes back to a Peay who lived about 1700 in Virginia.
