Please help, I need records of the slaves that Col. Nicholas Peay owned in the Flint Hill neighood. Where can I find the records? Are they located in Fairfield county court house? How many generation of slave? I have found in the Archive that he was the son of Austin Ford Peay.
Was Austin the first generation of Peay's from England? Please help if you can.
