I am looking for any information on the family of William Walter PEAY b. 1853 Little Rock, Pulaski Co., AR. He married Melissa (THAYER) 1879 Altoona, Wilson Co., KS.

They are said to have moved to Jordon, Wyoming and raised a large family of children. Family tradition says that Wm. Walter PEAY was a government surveyor.
They may have lived in Johnson Co., WY.

The parents of William Walter (PEAY) were Gordon Neill PEAY, Sr. and Olive (MONTGOMERY) of Little Rock, AR.

Wm. Walter and his sister, Johnanna Grace (PEAY) BIRLEW were sent out of the war zone when the Civil War began, and they ended up in Kansass.

I'm hoping to hear from descendants of this PEAY family.
