My grandfather, Joseph Pecina came to the Chicago area from Bohemia
in about 1892 or 93. He married Anna Simsa, also from Bohemia,
possibly Lnare. They had nine children:
Anna married Frank Menzl, Francis married Lawrence O'Brien,
Helen married first, Alfred Zemke, second William Leubscher,
Lillian married Emil Nadherny, Joseph married Rose Ruzika,
Julia married Richard Vesely, Henry married Evelyn Simonek,
Edward married Gloria Kuchaba & Elmer married Gwendolyn Brown.
Joseph's sister Emma married a Bensa & lived in Michigan City, In.
his brother Frank was a butcher in Chicago.
Anna had sisters Josie & Mary who married a Broucek & a brother
James who lived in Grawn, Mi.
ANY information on ANY of these families would be greatly appreciated.
