Interested in information on Deacon Robert and particularly information re: his artwork. His family were among the founders of Newport, RI. Deacon Robert Peckham was in Bolton and eventually Westminter, Mass. His house still stands in Westminster and was a stop on the underground railroad. Deacon Robert was an abolitionist and artist and painted portraits and landscapes, primarily of Massachusetts scenes and families. His art can be found at the Metropolitan, Museum of Fine arts in Boston, the Whitney Museum and at Fruitlands in Harvard, Mass. Friendly regards, Laura Witt
