Old Peckham Family Bible

There is an old Peckham family bible up for sale on Ebay.. this is not mine.. I am just passing along the information...

"H. & E. Phinney's Stereotype Edition" of the Holy Bible, published in
Cooperstown (N.Y.) by H. & E. Phinney in 1834.
Cover is 11 1/4" by 9" and book is about 2 1/2" deep. Binding is in
sturdy shape and overall condition is quite good. Some
pages have that common mildew staining problem, and the last few pages,
part of an index of names are stained and bent. On
the whole the book and pages are not fragile or dry. Some nice
engravings. There are some added inserts for the family record
that are a little brittle and since they were larger than the pages of
the book, their edges are bent and have small tears. The
family record is for the Peckham Family and this branch married into the
Wightman family, both early and significant Rhode Island families.
