Looking for proof of information on Stephen Peckham 6, Timothy 5, Reuben 4, Timothy 3, John 2, John 1) This information is from book: Peckham Genealogy 1922 by Stephen Farnum Peckham.

Stephen Peckham

"a blacksmith of South Kingston, R.I. from whence he removed to New York State and settled on the Mohawk River, locality unknown. No records have been obtained of his marriage, or the births of his children. but he is known to have had several sons and daughters.

Children, the order of birth not known:

i Caleb Bentley, b 1789, July 20; m. Hannah Thompson (my line)

ii William, married and had 2 sons and 1 daughter

iii Reuben Stephen, m. (1st) Hannah Whitehorn; (2nd) Charlotte Wilcox.

iv Hazard, returned to Rhode Island and spent the remainder of his life there; was interviewed by one of the Compilers of this Genealogy, but could give very little information as to his family. "

Any information would be appreciated.

Nancy
