John Peden -Mary Smith Moses Peden-Martha Smith

I would like to know if anyone has information on Thompson and Mary Smith's connection to the Pedens. I know Mary Smith married John Peden(of Virginia) c 25 June 1756. Their son Moses married Martha Smith his first cousin. She was oldest child of Thompson Smith.

Did they emigrate from Northern Ireland or Scotland together? Does anyone know the name of the ship on which they made the crossing, and if there is a manifest?

I am a descendent of Thompson and the Peden links are so strong that it may lead me to Thompson's father and mother and origination in Scotland or northern Ireland.

Any and all help would be appreciated. I have ordered a used copy of Pedens in America, 1978 from Amazon(only one available $20.)... that may help me as well.

Don Smith
