I am looking for Suzanne, the daughter of a Dianne/Diane Peeden/Peden/Peiden/Peedin/etc.I do not know the Suzanne's surname.
Diane was a student at East Carolina University (ECU) sometime between 1970-73. I guess-timate her birth year to be about 1949/50/51/52.Abandoned by her mother, she was raised by her maternal grandmother somewhere outside Elizabeth City North Carolina. There is a slight chance grandma lived in Virgina due to the close proximity of Elizabeth City to the Virginia state line.
Diane found her mother about 1972/73 and moved to Chicago Illinois to be with her.A letter a few months after the move indicated Diane married and had given birth to a daughter she named Suzanne. Another guess-timate makes Suzanne's birth year between 1973-74.
My dates and some of the details may be off a bit, none-the-less the story should ring a bell with someone.
If you have read to this point and are still intreseted thinking there is a connection, great. Now the rest of the story: The reason for this Suzanne search is simply, when Diane left NC she was pregnant and in the above mentioned letter Diane said her new hubby agreed to raise "Suzie" as his own, not telling her the truth about her ancestry.
Suzie's biological father was my first husband, (JLS).JLS and I had three daughters, M. born 1967, W. born 1968 and F. born/died 1971.W&M would like to get to know her. They have information concerning JLS and three other 1/2 siblings positively identified to date. They have contact information as well as information about his mother and his siblings.
As with most genealogists seeking the truth about their ancestry regardless the facts, help is appreciated.
To make sure this complies to GenForum.com's rules and guidelines for posting a message I have to add, my genealogy research includes my EX-hubby's family, because of my daughters. It would be nice to have correct information about Suzanne and her mother. However, if Suzanne is opposed to this contact, I understand completely.
God bless you'll a million or more times,
Mykle Love
