No, I don't know where they lived. I show James born 1771, married Mary Montgomery b 1785 but I don't know the year of their marriage. They had a son named Josiah Wilson Morton b 1824 married Jane C. Alexander (have deed of property from Elias Alexander to Josiah Morton in 1847, the year of their marriage). I don't know if this James was born in Ireland or in S. Carolina but the land to Josiah was deeded in Tennessee. My grandmothers notes show James was the son of John Morton and Jane Peden. I figured the Peden site would be the best place to find out. Thanks for any information anyone can give me.
