Thomas W. Peden ,1860 Mississippi

I'm looking for the Peden family that owned my great-grandfather, Scott Peden. He took the Peden
name when he was freed in 1865 in Mississippi at 16 yrs.
The 1860 Slave Schedule shows an 11 yr old black male slave
belonging to Thomas W. Peden of Kemper County, Mississippi.
Scott remained in Kemper County then moved to East St. Louis
shortly before his death in 1922.
