Hi Lucy,
Thanks for your reply. According to my file James Pedan was born in 1767 either in Maryland or Pennsylvania. I show all the children having been born in Guernsey County, Ohio on the following dates: Benjamin 1812, Isaac 1814, Stephen 1816, Dana 1819, Permelia Jane 1821, Catherine 9/2/1823, Henry E. R. and Mary E. B. (apparently twins) 1826, Julian 1828, and George C. and Mary P (apparently another set of twins) 1831.

An Isaac Paden shows up in Center Twn., Guernsey County, in 1850.
