New here! Info about Alexander Pethein's...

Hi everyone! I'm Carle Meier, great great great granddaughter of Lawson Perry Peden. My line lies in the House of Samuel and the House of Thomas. I've recently gotten back into researching my tree. I lost my grandfather (Chester Alton Peden) in April and lost interest for a while.

It's been so interesting to uncover the new information out there! I saw there was some confusion on Alexander Pethein and Margaret Hamilton. Here's what I've found through Ancestry.com.

John Peden + Margaret McDill > Thomas Peden + Mary Mills > James Peden + Agnes Miller > Andrew (Hugh) Peden + Isabella Robb > Alexander Pethein (1560-1611) + Margaret Hamilton > James Pethein (1524-1595) + Unknown > Sir Alexander Pethein (1505-Unknown)

Alexander Pethein was a martyr...Sir Alexander Pethein was the Lord of Auchinlongford in Scotland. Hope that helps! :o)

I would love to find any cousins that may be out there. If you would like and invite to the tree I've created on Ancestry.com let me know! :o)

Carle
