I am trying to do a search on my family name. Peel is a common name in Northumberland and the former county of Westmorland. The spellings I have come accross are Peel, Pele, Peele and Peal. The same family sometimes change within a generation or two. I am from the same region as the famous Robert Peel, I live in Manchester he was from Bury. But I don't know if I'm related. I can send you the limited info I have maybe we could swap info.
