Diane, Do you have any information on descendants of Robert Peele and Charity Dickenson through their son David? I am interested in adding Robert Peele as a supplement to my DAR record and the people I know who joined the DAR under Robert did it through Robert and Elizabeth Edgerton. I descend from David and Molly Woodard, then through their son John and wife Patricia Menshew, then through Robert and wife Eliza Jane Pipkin. Robert and Eliza Jane's daughter Henrietta married Alva H. Daly. Alva and Henrietta had a son, James Robert Daly who married Emma Sutton. James Robert and Emma Daly had a daughter, Dorothy, who was my mother. I have joined DAR under my Daly ancestor and would like add the Peele name as a supplement.
Another question. Do you have any information on David Peele being married to Pricilla Fletcher in 1794? I don't know when Molly died, so it is possible David remarried, but I have not seen anything about Priscilla until recently in a book listing Quaker marriages. I also found a cemetery in Wayne Co.,NC in which David is listed as being buried and the others who are buried there are his relatives, including a couple who may be his sons by Priscilla.
Thanks for your help.
