Hello Katherine
Thanks for getting in touch. It would seem we share some Peel ancestry. I'm interested in pushing things back as far as possible. I have John Peel = Kitty Nelson (marr Grayingham 24 Oct 1789), the parents of George Bygott Peel. This John Peel's parents appear to be Richard Peel and Ann. I suspect Ann may also be a Spencer (although I have no marriage). However, this is all based on IGI entries, and I ought to firm it up by seeing the original registers.
You mentioned in your posting that you are related through a grandson (Richard Peele of Long Sutton) of William Peel (spouse of Elizabeth Spencer), and (my) Richard Peel (spouse of Ann). Did that mean his parents were cousins? Do you have any information about what they all did, and have you gone into things more deeply than I have? e.g. you seem to have some burial dates as well as baptisms & marriages.
I would be grateful for any hints
regards
Bob
