Try to get your Great Uncle Pete Peeples' death certificate, that may tell who his parents were and where he was born.
Then look around that time and area, for other Peeples.
Then again was he your Great Aunt { Pete's
Wife's} Kin, and given the Peeples name ?
The internet is great but most info. you'll
have to dig up with visiting libraries, court
houses, and listening to "old folk" etc. Pen
paper and snail mail, is the biggest source.
You have to really get back into the 1800's
with a name, then someone on the net may connect with it.
