Afro-American Peeples - South Carolina

Seeking any info on gggrandparents Alfred (1828-1911) and Anna (1835-1908)PEEPLES from Kershaw County. They were the parents of Rev. Ben Peeples (1867-1944), Alice Peeples Clark (1856-1920). Ben married Estelle, and Alice married Mitchell Clark.

My grandmother, Nora Clark ("Miss Nonie"), was a certified mid-wife for the State of South Carolina before she retired. There were many PEEPLE "cousins" that attended her funeral.

They are all buried in the Canty Hill Baptist Church cemetery.
