Wilbur,
Sarah Hardee Haddock as we Cone's show her first married to Isham Peeples Jr and children as Isham Peeples III and a John Peeples, yet today I see some of you have a Deliha Peeples but no John Peeples. William Cone is to have taken Sarah to Kings Ferry Fl. and married Sarah there about 1810 as Nancy Keziah Cone was born June 11, 1811. Then came Daniel Newman Cone in 1814 and William Henry Cone in 1815. Now William Cone had been Married to a Martha Jane Cason and so divoiced her yet Ga Law did prevail that the plantiff of a divoice could be held not to remarry and that is where Kings Ferry comes to play. Yet in 1825 Cason Died. William prevailed for Legislation approval to marry Haddock in Camden County in Jan of 1826. Then William also gained the neccesary approval to his children to gain their surname legaly and rights to be his heirs as well. Do any of you really for a fact know when Isham died. I'm thinking William did marrya widow and in time the Peeple Children were appointed a guardian about 1827. We have done the DNA of the Cone Descendents and it is pretty tight on the Y chromozone that is passed on amongst the males even though the adoption point is there in that several William descendents match up to Joesph Cone descendents. Joesph was William's brother and of Thomas County, Ga after winning a Land Lottery in 1827. I note it appears that several of the Peeple descewndents went into Hamilton County, Fl as did William Cone.
