- This is a good reference book but is known to have a number of errors --

Page 32; Last par.
Isham Peebles [Sr]
was b. Va. c. 1725-29 d. Beauford Dist. S.C.
- How ever the Elizabeth He m. seems to have been the daughter of Josiah Barker, whose wife was Faith, b. c. 1703 dau. of. Richard Washington, of Surry Co. Va.

Page 33; First par.
-The earlist record we have of Isham, Sr., is a land patent in Mechlenberg Co. N.C.. Apr. 29, 1758 on the west side of the Broad River. - When N.C. & S.C. swapped land - Isham's land fell into S.C.

-- 3rd par.
- Isham and wife Elizabeth, both signing marks, of Prince George Parish Co. S.C. April 7, 1773

-- there are several pages of their children's info listed -

I try to reply on the board, when a Question is asked on the board, as others may be looking for the same info. !
