I have this information, too. My problem is that the book contains the following statement:
>ENOCH CANADA MORRIS... Enoch was a great grandson of
>Robert Morris, who signed the Declaration of Independence.
>He served as a volunteer in the Mexican war.

I have documentation of his military service, but I cannot substantiate the Robert Morris connection. It is written in the family Bible, but his father (and beyond) is not given anywhere, including on his death certificate.

Thanks for whatever help anyone may be able to provide on this issue.

Fred Schouten (Great-grandson of Enoch Canada Morris)
