Hi Bryan, I've been researching my line of Peggs for several years. I've gone back as far as William Pegg marrying Ann Smitham in Twyford, Derbyshire, in 1769, they had 9 children & were my 5x g. Grandparents, they were the farming branch of Peggs. They later moved around to different Counties in the area. If I can help any more, please don't hesitate to ask, I do believe that all the 'Peggs' are related, and originated from Ashbourne in Derbyshire. Apparently they at one time lived in a Large mansion House in Mayfield, near Ashbourne. Where a lot of them are buried.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Jan Mclean
