Hi John,

You have probably been asked this before, but I thought I would try anyway. Do you know of ANY connection to Daniel Pegge who settled in Philadelphia, PA sometime in the 1660s or 1670's? He was a Quaker and a brickmaker. He married in America, 1. Martha Allen, b. abt 1663 in Chew Magna, Somersetshire and 2. Barbara Jones, b. Flint/Denbigh, Wales. He had many friends who had arrived in the colonies from Derby.

Do you know of any Quakers or brickmakers in the Derby Pegge family?

It is also possible that Daniel was from Lincolnshire as I have seen some entries on the IGI that contain the names Daniellis and Nathan (which is another common Pegg name in our line.)

Any help would be appreciated.

Sheri Pegg
