My great-grandfather was Peter Pegg who moved with his family from the Clarence River to Gin Gin (Queensland) with Gregory Blaxland.

Peter Pegg was born 1843 on the Clarence River NSW on 30 March 1868 in Maryborough he married Maria Margaret Richards from Launceston Tasmania.
on the birth certificate of his daughter Olive Carrie, he is listed as a Ferryman and made a cross on the page as his mark. At that time there were 5 other children: Almina Ellen (14) [Aunt Nell] Henry Ernest (11) Cecilia Grace (7) [Aunt Grace] Frank Herbert (5) [Grandad] Beatrice May (3) [Aunt Triss]. Other children came along later.

My grandfather was Frank Herbert Pegg who married Gertrude Camilla Simonsen. My grandfather moved from Bundaberg to Brisbane around 1925 and had a house built in 1926 at the Grange (where I am writing this note)

My father was Herbert John Peter Pegg who married Willa May Richardson.
