Joy,

I have very little on Kenneth Scott Pegg, but here is what I have. Kenneth was born 1918 in Ontario and died April 8, 1996 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston, ONT. He is buried at St. John's Presbyterian Church. He married Margaret Neilly in Cookstown, ON, but I don't have the date listed.

Here is a note I have in his file:

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pegg
Author: Cookstown Women's Institute

This is a white frame home on the west side of King St. S. owned by Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pegg (nee Margaret Neilly).

Mr. Pegg built the house mostly by himself in 1953. Mr. Herb Harman helped with the roof. The property was bought from Mrs. Leadlay and was part of the Leadlay farm.

Mr. Pegg is a maintenance worker at Camp Borden.

Kenneth was a member of the Cookstown Presbyterian Church

Kenneth appears to have been married twice. I have Muriel Thompson listed as his other wife. He was the son of George Franklin Pegg (b. 4/22/1879, d. 10/12/1953 in Milwaukee, WI) and Jennie Eliza Fairbarn (b. 4/28/1882, d. 11/22/1945).

George Franklin Pegg was the son of Daniel Pegg and Maluria Evans. Daniel Pegg was the son of Samuel Pegg and Nancy Purdy. Samuel PEgg was the son of Isaac Pegg and Deborah Parks. I am a descendant of Isaac and Deborah.

Do you have any information regarding Kenneth or the Neilly family?

Thanks,

Sheri Pegg
