Update:
Martha Jane Pegg Shigley is the Daughter of BF Pegg and Elizabeth.
BF Pegg's father was Joab J Pegg or Joab I Pegg.
Joab Pegg is the son of Martin Pegg, he married Mary Tharp.
Joab Pegg is the son of William Pegg and the brother of Valentine Pegg.
Currently I am researching the siblings of BF Pegg.
I believe that Tyra D Pegg, Milton M Pegg, William A Pegg and two unidentified sisters are the children of Joab and Mary Pegg.
The 1830 federal census is my starting point.
The Tharps moved to Ohio in 1802 from Guilford County NC.
The Peggs moved later after 1812. Joab Pegg faught in the war of 1812 and mustered out of North Carolina.
