I am also researching Pekarek. My ggrandmother was Catherine Pekarek, born 1875 to a Charles(Johann) and Mary (Marie) Pekarek. Charles was born about 1832 and Mary ab out 1842. They immigrated to the US on June 14 1875 on the Suevia. Lived in Cleveland where two more children were born. Charles about 1877 and a Joseph about 1879, and possibly another son born 9/27/1891. I believe Charles (1877) married and had two children..Charles B, born about 1902 and Clarence. Charles Sr. died May 14, 1890 and is buried in Woodland Cemetery. I have not found a record of Mary's death. Catherine died in 1902 and is also buried in Woodland. Is it possible your grandfather Clarence, is the same Clarence born to Charles here? Catherine Pekarek married ggrandfather, William Yankow (sp). Let me know if you have obtained any other info and if there might be some connection.
