Hello Judy, I might have a little bit of information for you. I just got back from a nice trip to vermont.I am also researching the pelkey's. Not the same pelkey bunch so far but you never know. while i was at the fair haven town clerks office I did write down a few notes, trying to piece the families togethere. here is what I have for David Pelkey and lucy Preston. It is by no means complete, but it just might be a start. (cross your fingers)

David pelkey and Lucy Preston children (I am sure there were more, this just what i have)

Children
Francis Edward Pelkey born: 8/19/1875
Francis married Elina Broduer on 6/18/1902

Joseph Pelkey born: 8/30/1873

Laura A. Pelkey born: 12/29/1876

Louis D. Pelkey: no birth date but he did die 9/23/1923

Phillip Pelkey: no birth but died 1/12/1934 at the age of 64 years 11 month's 26 days. so you can figure his birth date from that.

also to note: the Louis D.Pelkey death record shows his mom to be louise preston. But I would say it was just a recording error. ( I have come accross alot of them) I hope this helps a little. but I always say any bit of info is something.
