Thanks for all your info...I do know that "Laura" isn't exactly a "German" name...however, that's all I have to go on! That family dwelt on the next generation so much that the grandparents were in the background. Most only knew OF them and only some knew the few names I have! I know it's not going to be easy...I'm just shooting at stars hoping someone is out there I haven't talked to!!

All of our "parent's generation" on Edward's line are gone. Haven't spoken to anyone on William's line or Helen's line.
Maybe they have a little more information...??

I will use some of your sites to continue. Other sides of the family came from Prussia, they may have all known each other there. I know they came here in 1889...
