I am very interested in your reference to your family in PA and the Civil War. I have an ancestor, my great grandfather , Edourd Henri Pelletier (many of his children spelled their last name Pelkey- their mother was Catherine Brennan, wife of Edourd). Edourd served as your relative Antoine did, in the Civil War. Although Edourd and Catherine later moved to Canada where Edourd later died, Catherine sent his body to Pittsburg, PA where he is now buried.Catherine received a pension from the U.S government because of Edourd's service in the Civil War. I was wondering if perhaps Edourd and Antoine were brothers? Do you know of any Pittsburg connection to yourrelatives or the names of Antoine's brothers?
