I am researching what I thought were my Goodrich's until I found out that they changed their name FROM Pelkey to Goodrich in Cheshire County, NH abt. 1905

George Wallace Pelkey and his 5 children,
Wallace Carl
Melissa
Clara B.
Clyde A.
James B.
all changed their last name (legally) to Goodrich.

However, his wife, Isabelle Maria Price did not. So we may be related in some way, because I think that since she did not change her name, she might have died, and he moved back to Cheshire Co. NH to be with family (possibly).

I don't know what year he was born, but he resided in Fitchburg, MA in 1888 when Wallace Carl was born, and Wallace Carl's birth record shows George Wallace Pelkey's birthplace as Westmoreland something. It is sooooo light, but I believe it might be NH.

Wallace Carl ended up in Keene, married, had a family and died there.

I know this might not help alot, but maybe we can help each other.
