Hi, Christine--I'm not sure. I have Susan as one of 12 children (but who's counting); her brother James was born in 1844 and died after 1874. He married Ellen______. As late as 1871 they were living in Wilmot Parish, Carleton Co, NB. James registered a land grant for 100 acres in Aberdeen, Carleton Co on Nov 14, 1874. There is a James A. Pelkey buried in Centreville United Baptist Church Cemetery--died Mar 5, 1876, age 34 yr, 4 mo. 21 days. James' children with Ellen were Ella, Ernest & James. Does this connect??? -- Polly
