I'm glad I've been able to help. :) Here's all I have on the family, with sources: Ahira Smith, b. 20 Jun 1807 in Canterbury, CT to Ichabod and Actisah Smith. Married Oct 1828 in Canterbury. (Barbour collection for the birth and marriage, 1850 and 1860 VT Census) Caroline Eliza Pellet, b. 26 Dec 1811 in Canterbury to Amasa and Lydia Pellet. (Barbour collection, 1820 CT and 1850 VT census) Lucretia Elizabeth Smith, b. 28 Jul 1829 in Canterbury. (Barbour collection, 1850 VT Census) Eunice Bingham Smith, b. 12 Sep 1821 in Canterbury. (Barbour collection, 1850 VT Census) John D Smith, b. Feb 1834 in VT. Married abt 1855, with several generations down from him. (1850 VT, 1860 VT, 1870 IA, 1880 Dakota Territory, 1900 North Dakota) Chauncey Smith, b. abt 1842 in VT. (1850 VT, 1860 VT) Lydia Smith, b. abt 1845 in VT. (1850 VT, 1860 VT) Lewis Smith, b abt 1846 in VT. (1850 VT, 1860 VT) Charles Smith, b. abt 1850 in VT. (1860 VT) I have Carolines' parents going back to her 3rd Great Grandfather, Thomas Pellet of Concord (b abt 1635), but nothing more on Ahira's Family. I'm working more on the decendants of this family than the ancestors. If you'd like a .ged of this branch of the family, I'd be most happy to send it to you. Just email me - atohanie@excite.com Brookfield, VT seems like a good place for me to start looking for filling in more of this information - thanks. :) Any other tidbits you might have on where to look for any more of their decendants would be greatly appreciated.
