Well, I have some suspicions, based on the censuses. In the 1900 Census, There is a Jay D Pellet, with wife Anna L, daughter Ellen E, and father Jedediah. Later censuses only find the possibility of Ellen in the 1910 census, listed as Hellen Pellett, a servant in Perry, Michigan. Earlier censuses show his name as actually being James, with the marriage to Anna L being his second. He can be found (as can his father, Jedidiah and mother Helen) in Chehasing, MI, Brant, MI, Oswego, NY, and Ira, NY. At this point, I suspect that Jedediah is the son of Jedediah and Tryphenia Pellet, also living in Ira in 1850. If this is the case - this line goes back as far as Thomas Pellet of Concord, born abt 1635. Hope this is a help. If you'd like an excel spreadsheet with the census information on it, I'd be more than happy to supply. Also, if you'd like more information on Jedediah (sr)'s line, just let me know.
