Hi. Hopefully this will clear things up. From the Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967:

Alexandre Pelletier (widower of Francoise Michaud)
m. 25 Apr 1814 Kamouraska (St-Louis)
Marie Angelle Lebel (Jean-Baptiste Lebel & Marianne Lan Cogard? dite Santerre)

And his 1st marriage:

Alexander Peltier (Joseph Basile Peltier & Marie Catherine Siroi)
m. 24 Jun 1811 Kamouraska (St-Louis)
Francoise Michaud (Francois Michaud & Pelagie Mauran?)

Here is a baptism for Alexandre:

Alexandre Cirile Peltier, bap 21 Sep 1789 Kamouraska (St-Louis), son of Joseph Peltier & Marie Catherine Sirois -godparents- Alexandre Dionne & Marie Anne Peltier.
