"EDWARD PELLETREAU, son of Elias and Helena (De Mai) Pelletreau, was born in 1838. Died in 1891. Married Sarah Wright. Issue:

- This is the only mention of Ida (Pelletreau) Walseed/Malseed in the Pelletreau Family book written by Historian William Smith Pelletreau and published in 1913. Ida's father, Edward Pelletreau (1838-1891) was a son of Elias Pelletreau and his 2nd wife Helena De mai. Elias Pelletreau (1782-1851) was the son of Elias Pelletreau and Mary Peck and was a great-great grandson of Elias Pelletreau (1665-1730) who was a French Huguenot Refugee born in France and traveled to America with his brother Jean Pelletreau, Uncle Jean Pelletrean and his wife Madaline (Vincent) Pelletreau.
