Vermont/Canada/Michigan, etc....

We've got this burial:
Simon Pelett
died Apr. 28 1879
aged 87 yrs
his wife
Lovina Hayes
died Oct. 18, 1877
aged 73 yrs.
What we know for sure is that Simon and Lovina were the parent's of Samuel Stephen Pelett (spelled Pelot on register and born February 14, 1836) and Daniel Pelett (spelled Pelot and born September 12, 1842). These two were born in Ontario Canada but Samuel moved to Michigan, USA and listed his parents as being born in Vermont. Daniel stayed in Canada as far as I know. There is another whom we're almost positive was a son of Simon and Lovina as well but we can't find much on him. Nelson Pelett was born in the US about 1823 and was in Quebec, Canada for the 1861 Census but then turns up in Michigan for the 1880 Census. Would like to find any connections to Nelson.
