Fondi, Italy

Hello:
The reference to Fondi attracted my attention. Both of my parents were born there. My father, Vincenzo Sepe, was born in October l892. My mother, Laurina Nardone, was born in April, 1899. Both of these names are very big in most of Italy as well as in Fondi. By big I mean numerous.
I'm trying to track down some information I once found on a website related to Fondi but can't relocate the site. At any rate, I thought I had read that the people of Fondi received their citizenship from Rome in 180 BC. Anyone have any info on this? Other names related to my family are Fiore, Incallichio, Pignatelli, Pallisco, Manzi. Does any one of these look familiar?
