I find fascinating that you state that Mathurin Peloquin , married to Ambroise Syllart was born in Brizambourg,Saintes France in 1642. What is the source of this information? It clashes with what is known! I'm really puzzled!
Mathurin's father was also called Mathurin and he married Francoise Chastaignier. Where he was from is not determined. I've tried zeroing in on this for more than a decade; to no avail. I've traced three similarly named persons, none married to Francoise Chastaignier.
I would really appreciate your input by citing where you learned that Brizambourg is the source of young Mathurin.
